The North Shore Center Of Dental Health has served Chicago's north suburbs for over 15 years. With a full range of dental services including general and cosmetic dentistry as well as orthodontic services, Dr. Chris Baboulas and his staff wanted greater exposure for the practice by establishing a new marketing channel to compliment their existing print marketing efforts.
Dr. Baboulas teamed with IWS in January of 2002, with the goal of producing a new web site that would allow online users to learn about the Center's services and schedule appointments. "Our original web site had been up there for a few years and it wasn't producing much by way of results for us. We needed better design and a more responsive web development partner." said Dr. Baboulas. "We had also been trying for years to find the right design for a new logo which would be the foundation for all new collateral material. After talking through the goals of the web site and how we wanted to present ourselves, we learned that IWS had extensive logo and print design skills. From there it just seemed like a natural fit."
After designing a new logo, the attention turned to the re-establishment of the web site. IWS made recommendations and assisted in the transfer of the site to itís hosting affiliate, IWS Hosting. The new site design was established and new content was added throughout the site. Since many patients opt to undergo cosmetic dental procures but intially seek more information about the procedures, care was taken to include informative information and before/after photos of past North Shore patients. Contact forms allow users to contact the office staff at the North Shore Center Of Dental Health. Additionally patiant information forms allow panew patients to submit their information online in advance of their first appointment and North Shore's clients can now apply for interest-free financing directly online.
"We couldn't have been happier with the new logo and the new site. Finally, we were portraying the image I've been wanting for years. IWS did a great job for us. On top of that, with their past experience in the dental industry, they knew our business, they suggested things we might have missed and this made the process of doing all this a breeze," said Dr. Baboulas.
After the new site was launched, unique visitors to the site increased nearly 25% to what is now over 2,200 visitors per year. Most importantly, the increased traffic began to yield new patients. "We see anywhere from 2-4 new patients a month that are brought in strictly through the site. I know that the level of service I provide is exceptional enough that most of those customers will bring their families and provide referral business as well. Without a doubt, this is the most effective marketing dollars I've ever spent."
